Universities face challenges and transformations, which are reflected in an increase in competition. These changes pose opportunities, and among them are the appearance and growth of groups of professionals that return to the university in order to improve and update their knowledge. The importance of summer courses arises within this context. This study attempts to determine the existence of groups of students of summer courses offered by a particular university based on the students’ perceptions about various aspects of the same, and it attempts to characterise them through different variables. The results will allow the analysed institution to have more in-depth knowledge of the market segment or segments at which it must direct its educational offer.References
