The evaluation of the performance of students in distance learning based systems is one of the key issues as in any training program. This process presents the common basic characteristics with the remaining training programs and adds the characteristics of this approach. We review some of them, placing them in the experience and alternatives that are currently available and, particularly, from the perspective that this respect is developed in the CFV project (Saez et al., 1999).References
