Abstract

Faced with a total paradigm shift in relation to the peace movement from the last century to the present, Vicenç Fisas briefly sets out a decalogue to attack point by point the necessary revision that is urgently needed in this area. A peace agenda for turbulent times summarizes some of the burning issues to be taken into account in the coming years, such as power struggles, climate change or the emergence of possible armed conflicts. However, beyond questioning States and their governments, he intelligently underlines the need to rely on social and political movements, as well as on an aware and active citizenry. It understands that the current situation requires multidimensional efforts capable of implementing solutions to global problems, where the presence of all the actors involved is needed.
