Abstract

This monograph emphasises, through the richness and diversity of its contributions, the creative essence of any act of appropriation of a past tradition, to which the passing of time has considered normative. The perspective of time allows us to corroborate how the models that are widely acclaimed as valid in a specific time and space recursively undergo notable changes in their evaluation, and are even rejected. Thus, one of the most interesting aspects with regard to the reception of the classics is, precisely, the mutable character of this label.
