Scapigliato alphabet. A poetic generation in twenty poems
Keywords:
Scapigliatura, Dualism, Accursed Poets, Arrigo Boito, Emilio PragaAbstract
Poetry seems to occupy, in the consideration of critics and the public, a secondary place within the intense production of the scapigliati, especially remembered for their numerous and varied prose works that include from short stories and novels, to texts of literary criticism or opera scripts, all of them frequently reissued. However, some of the thematic and aesthetic keys that define the movement can be found, in a clear and concise way, in the poetry collections of some of the movement's most representative authors.
