Ethics policy

RASE is a digital tool that allows the dissemination of knowledge in a globalized society where technology, communication and information occupy a prominent place. The publication is focused on equal opportunities that facilitate knowledge.

With this objective in mind, the journal is committed to the contents published, establishing a code of ethics based on the following principles:

  1. The texts received in the journal must be original and unpublished, i.e., they must not have been previously published, disseminated or sent to any other publication. Authors must refrain from copying texts previously published by themselves.
  2. Authors are responsible for requesting the appropriate permissions for the publication of texts, figures or tables from other publications, with the corresponding reference and citation of the source consulted.
  3. Following the anti-plagiarism policy, all partial copies of texts, figures or tables must be referenced. Articles received will be reviewed using the Turnitin plagiarism detection tool. Those articles in which plagiarism and/or self-plagiarism are detected will be automatically rejected.
  4. If experiments that have been performed on human subjects are published, these procedures must respect the ethical standards of responsible human experimentation and the Helsinki Declaration of 1975. The data of the persons and institutions involved in such activity must be respected.
  5. If the work has been funded by an entity, permission must be obtained from that entity for the dissemination of the results.
  6. The work in which people participate as research subjects must have the informed consent of all of them, in which they will be previously informed of the objectives of the research and the dissemination of the results, ensuring the confidentiality of personal data.
  7. The works received will follow a double-blind evaluation, guaranteeing the anonymity of the authorship data and the evaluators' data. The deadlines agreed upon for the completion of the evaluation and the possibility of waiving the evaluation if the subject matter is not in accordance with the evaluator's training or if there are conflicts of interest are guaranteed.
  8. The Journal expects authors to declare any commercial association that may involve a conflict of interest in connection with the submitted article. The Journal declines any responsibility for possible conflicts arising from the authorship of the papers published in the Journal.
  9. Authorship of the articles. The list of authors should include only those persons who have contributed intellectually to the preparation of the work, i.e., have participated in the design and execution of the research, in the writing and evaluation of the results, and finally, have approved the final version of the text before it is sent to the journal.
  10. RASE provides free access to all contents online.
