The purpose of this research is to carry out an approach to the quantitative and qualitative analysis of the content in the virtual forums used as a complement to the university lessons. After defining the base criteria of the assessment process, the forums developed in three subjects (215 students) are analyzed. The results show the need to distinguish between quantitative and qualitative results in relation to their impact on assessing the level of competence; they also suggest the importance of the didactic design of the subject in the evolution of the communicative and social competences of the students’ participations.Downloads
