Abstract

The text sets out the editorial keys of the journal EFÍMERE. It takes a tour of the objectives and thematic focus of the magazine, as well as the section policy. The EFÍMERE journal was born with the function of completing the panorama of academic journals focussed on understanding how knowledge is built from artistic experiences and artistic education practises. It raises the reasons that led us to dedicate the first monograph to the field of the aesthetics of Valencian culture, as a way to mark our position and our origin from the beginning. It is part of a local reality to value all the premises as universal elements of study, since there is nothing more local than the aesthetic experience in front of a work of art.
