Conflicting of interests policy

Conflict of interest, according to the criteria of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), refers to those personal, academic, political, economic, or commercial interests that may influence the biased evaluation process of a publication proposal. It is recommended that all involved parties (both in the authorship of works and in their evaluation) communicate to the Editorial Team of Studia Philologica Valentina any possible conflicts of interest that may influence the acceptance or rejection of any scientific communication. The Editorial Team will make the decision it deems most appropriate to avoid the presence of conflicts of interest at any stage of the editorial process.

Policy on Research Misconduct

In accordance with COPE guidelines, Studia Philologica Valentina will address any reports of potential research misconduct.
The Editorial Team will contact the individual suspected of misconduct to obtain a response to the allegation. Likewise, the Team will investigate any submitted complaint following COPE’s flowcharts, which can be consulted HERE.
