Peer review process
The reception of original articles is permanent, without being subject to call for papers dates. Papers will be sent through the journal's OJS platform, after registration of the authors.
The maximum number of authors will be up to 5. Only one person will be responsible for correspondence, it is suggested that all co-authors register on the platform.
Upon receipt of the manuscript, the editorial team will make a first filter checking that the document respects the guidelines of form and content according to the document "editorial guidelines for authors" of the journal, and may reject it if it does not comply with the guidelines. The author will be notified of the committee's decision within two weeks. Once the editorial guidelines have been met, the completely anonymised document will be sent to two peer reviewers, whose thematic lines of production coincide with those of the article in question.
The double-blind review process will be carried out within a period of no more than four months, notifying the author via the OJS platform of the evaluation and final decision regarding the publication of the article. If the review process takes longer due to problems external to the journal, the authors will be notified.
Opinions may be: (a) publishable without comment; (b) publishable with minor changes, with the author having fifteen days to respond to comments; (c) publishable with substantial changes, with the author having one month to respond to comments; and (d) rejected.
If one opinion is rejected and another is publishable (in any of its three aspects a, b or c), it will be sent for a third evaluation. The final decision to publish the article will be communicated together with the opinions of the reviewers, always maintaining the anonymity of both parties.
When the articles are edited, they will be published on the journal's website, notifying the author in which issue they will be included.
