Abstract

Literary utopias are speculative works that through an imagined society, located in another time or in another place, poses what is the optimal form of a republic and how it is achieved. This paper presents how the Kantian principle of hospitality could be fulfilled in utopian literature. This approach is due to the fact that it is usually a foreigner who presents the goodness or badness of the imagined society.
