Abstract

The text reports an interview with Ramón Villares, Professor of Contemporary History and with Jesús Sánchez, Professor of Art History, specialized in heritage and architecture regarding the debate that aroused at the time the future destination of the Pazo de Meirás o Torres de Meirás, as Emilia Pardo Bazán baptized them. A dialogue that will especially interest Professor Javier de Lucas, since it is a very complex and controversial case study that combines the ways in which History, Politics and Law affect the characterization and possibilities of enhancing our democratic memory.
