Resum

The immigration constitutes a social phenomenon that has errupted very fast into Spanish society and has left clear evidence on the cover of the universal public services. The latest official data states that almost four and a half million foreign citizens from different countries have arrived to our country. To regulate and coordinate the progressive integration of such a cultural diversity is not an easy thing to achieve. The present article analizes the evolution of public policies developed to control and regulate this social phenomenon. We focus on the analysis of the developed plans for the different administrations and directed to guarantee the full integration of the immigrants into our society.
