Abstract

Dos conjuntos de intervenciones antrópicas afectan intensamente el litoral valenciano: los puertos y las defensas (escolleras y espigones). Con ellos se han ganado tierras, pero se han perdido muchas más, sobre todo teniendo en cuenta la elevación generalizada del nivel marino y el déficit sedimentario, en parte también de origen antrópico. Con todo, pasados los años del desarrollismo, poco a poco se está cambiando hacia la tecnología blanda.
