As the place of women in history has traditionally been relegated to oblivion, we hope that this project will lead to the visibility of women's voices in Francophone art, in order to raise awareness of the remarkable work of our female artists, who have long been reduced to the role of objects against which they have always fought to occupy their role as subjects.
