Music, Chocolate for the Ears. Elements for a reflection on the philosophy of Music teaching

I am amused when, in relation to the need of Music Education in the educational system, the mystery of purification is invoked: the Holy Name of Music appears, messianic, in a drunken ritual of fog and discursopolitical disguised as educational (or, perhaps, without disguise, given Coincidence). Hands are raised and prayers are said to be very important musical education, as it helps the socialization of children, the development of mathematical reasoning, intelligence, creativity, aesthetic sense, interdisciplinarity, psychological maturity, etc., etc.
