It may seem strange that at present it is still intended to propose an analysis of historical methods or active methods, as these are typical of a precise historical period; There should therefore be sufficient clarity about their role, their characteristics and other aspects of them. However, the reality is not exactly this, since it is not counted in the field of music education with systematic studies of the active methods and therefore we consider it necessary to carry out this analysis. In the majority of the occasions on which the active methods have been approached, they have been appreciated more in terms of the solutions that could offer the teacher of musical education for the classroom, that is to say by the value of what we could call the recipe book For teaching, and less frequently have been studied from an educational point of view.
