The article aims to present the initiative of a group of teachers of the University of La Laguna sensitive to the results of the analysis of the social, scientific and professional context of Music Education in the Canary Islands, which highlighted the need to attend training That demanded the diverse groups responsible for the musical formation in our Community. Under the regulation that regulates the postgraduate studies arises the Own Title of the University of La Laguna University Expert in Methods and Resources of Music Education with the purpose of completing the musical academic formation of the university graduates, of those who have studied the Teachings of Special Regime and professionals of any musical field; Offering them the possibility to perfect their professional, scientific, technical and artistic development.
