The Integral Rhythmic is an educational method based on musical rhythm. Movement is the basic element, but it is not the only form of rhythmic expression, but proceeds in conjunction with graphic and verbal expression. It is a synthesis of music, movement, drawing and word. The rhythm is put in the service of the education of the child: the purpose of the method is not to make specialists in rhythmic or of the dance; Still less painters or poets. Rhythmic exercises are aimed at developing the personality and capacity of the child. Integral Rhythmic can also be confused with a method whose objective is to teach basic musical theory in a placid way. This result is also achieved, very effectively, but depends on the didactic aspect of the method. On the one hand they lay solid foundations that can be used by the child when it is dedicated to the study of music, on the other hand physical capacities and mental faculties are activated.
