Análisis crítico del discurso: Políticas educativas en España en el marco de la Unión Europea

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the forms that the discourse of politics and
policies of education assumes in Spain and the European Union, in correlation to the tendencies in the United States (Pini, 2003) and the recommendations of international agencies. This is a qualitative study that includes a description and documental analysis.
The perspective is critical discourse analysis (ACD), complemented with political
discourse analysis, critical theory, sociological theory and some postmodern authors.
The corpus includes the current main law and official relevant documents related to
national education policies which involve education.
