The purpose of the paper is to analyse the post-war Valencian narrative and the vital agony which is present in almost all the published short stories, especially after Joan Fuster's Recull de contes valencians published in 1958. It also analyses the authors' short stories, the readings, influences and the importance of existencialism and vital pessimism.Downloads
