The translation of a TV series, unlike that of a film, must be conceived as a long journey. The more baggage we carry with us the better prepared to face any difficulties. My journey with The Simpsons is being a long one. Twenty years so far, nineteen seasons, two videogames and a film. Therefore, my baggage has grown heavier and more varied, made up of glossaries, original scripts, translations and adapted and final scripts, documentation and information about this series.
