Abstract

The present paper intends to prove that V. H. Sephiha’s proposal of Judeo-spanish Ladino being a loan from Sephardim natural language, called Judezmo, is not correct. Unfortunately, this differentiation between Judezmo and Ladino has experienced an undue success among experts in Sephardim matters and even in the definitions included in the rae dictionary. This paper purpose is to clear out doubts and prove false and wrong the theory of being two different Sephardim languages.
