Abstract

This volume gather the papers that a group of disciples, colleagues and friends from different universities, museums and countries offer to Professor Carmen Aranegui Gascó on the occasion of her retirement, as a sign of recognition for her teaching and her important contributions to the development of our discipline. In accordance with the different lines of research that the honoree has developed throughout her long career as a researcher, these papers deal with varied topics such as archaeological heritage, historiography or methodology, but especially the two fields in the Which has focused its activity: Iberian and Roman cultures. The first includes works on the relationship between woman and nature, the role of the Iberian lady, Iberian, Greek and Hellenistic ceramics, iconography and functionality in ceramics, sculpture and coin; And the second includes contributions on territory, architecture, iconography and ends in the Visigoth world. A diverse look at the study of the past, such as the Professor Carmen Aranegui has projected in her numerous publications, always boost by an insatiable curiosity and a great scientific rigor, that impels us to continue working with her example.
