SCRIPTA is an electronic journal that publishes scholarly works on the history of literature and culture of the Middle Ages and the modern age, mainly.
Miniature from the Llibre dels Feits of Jaume I (17th century), which reproduces another, now lost, from the ms. of Poblet (Barcelona University Library, ms. 69 f. 62).
SCRIPTA is an eminently philological magazine. Even so, it will accommodate the interests of nature and historical-cultural issues, whenever it deems beneficial for relations between interdisciplinary subjects coming from the field of humanities.
That is why we invite researchers from these disciplines to provide the results of their work in our magazine, we always show attentive to new research and innovative contributions, provided you have the necessary rigor.
SCRIPTA will appear every six months and in June and December. The researchers interested in publishing papers in our journal will let us reach them through this platform, or to the institutional email scripta@uv.es, two months before the publication of planned volumes. Moreover, the authors recommended visiting the notifications section (Avisos) -where there will be information on the dossiers to be published- and, obviously, the authors guidelines section (Normes als autors).
SCRIPTA accepts works in Catalan, Aragonese, Spanish, Italian, French, English and Occitan. Exceptionally, the Editorial Board if appropriate, will accept works in other languages.
SCRIPTA has ISSN 2340-4841 and an specific DOI for any publication and for each of the articles it publishes.
