Immunity prophylaxis with ozone therapy – review report.

Resumen

Background: The prevalence of COVID-19 according to WHO on date July 09, 2020 was 205,128 confirmed cases in India with 35,362 of daily increase in positive cases. Immunity Prophylaxis is a project which was started at one of the essential water service company Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd. where activity of building immunity for essential workers and staff was initiated after outbreak of COVID 19.Immunity prophylaxis protocol was designed based on the scientific rational where use of Ozone therapy and correction of vitamin status. Material and methods: Employees of both genders, working in all departments of Bisleri Factory and office were recruited for the study, out of 440, 320 employees got registered to Immunity Prophylaxis protocol.The protocol was 8 sessions of minor autohaemotherapy of ozone therapy along with 2 sessions Vitamin D3 and Vitamin B12 intramuscular injections. We conducted a retrospective cohort study to compare the incidence of COVID-19 in essential workers in the period of July-August of 2020. Results: The present study, it was evident that out of 320 participants opting to Immunity prophylaxis protocol only 7 participants turned out positive to COVID-19 test which is 2.19 % of total population under study, there was significant decrease in rate of incidence of COVID 19 after treatment of Immunity prophylaxis protocol compared to incidence from community which suggest that Ozone treatment may have its role in prevention from COVID-19.
