In this chapter we have reviewed the work of Jean Piaget, the most important theorist of child intelligence. Below, we have seen various lines of work that developed as a reaction to your research. Although his interest in mind was caused by his work with intelligence tests, his conception of intelligence differs from the idea of most of the researchers outlined in this book. Not only was Piaget interested in the intellectual capacities of human beings, but also in the properties of mind and intelligence which are found throughout the world and throughout the species.
