COVID-19 i canvi climàtic: Reptes i oportunitats per a la recuperació econòmica

Aquest article repassa com ha afectat la COVID-19 al compromís de cada país amb l’Acord de París i la reducció d’emissions per a mantenir l’increment global de temperatura per sota dels 2 °C durant aquest segle. S’assenyala que, a mesura que les nacions es vagen recuperant d’aquestes crisis i si no es prenen mesures addicionals, les emissions de gasos d’efecte d’hivernacle augmentaran de nou i tornaran al camí habitual, com ja va ocórrer en acabar crisis anteriors. L’article proposa accions a curt i mitjà termini per a reconstruir el sistema de manera diferent i ajudar a afrontar el repte global del canvi climàtic.
