This work reviews the poetic compositions that Vicent Andrés Estellés considered as —and named— epistles throughout his extensive literary production. This type of compositions, together with epheglies, consolidated him as a poet in the Catalan language during the fifties. They also contributed to provide his poetry with a conversational tone, where the poetic subject took advantage of his interlocutor and recipient in order to build himself in the text. This study publishes, among the revised texts, three unpublished epistolary poems.
