The linguistic situation of the Moorish community of the Kingdom of Valencia has been analysed in recent decades from various analytical points: philological, historiographical, anthropological and sociological. The present work offers an overview of this situation, which highlights the plurality of linguistic situations of its members, collected in the documented written testimonies, emphasizing that we are facing a complex reality, in which the analysis of the microhistories of the information collected is what brings us closer to the true situation. Among these microhistories, the linguistic particularities of the Arabic spoken by the Moorish community of Llombai in the mid-16th century will be analyzed, as well as other particular cases.
