Valor percibido por los maestros en formación inicial hacia la Plástica

Esta comunicación  forma parte de un trabajo de investigación más amplio, llevado a cabo en el curso 2011-2012, con maestros en formación de la escuela de Magisterio de Segovia, cuyo objeto ha sido indagar sobre la actitud mostrada por estos hacia el Área de Plástica. En él se han analizado diferentes componentes de esta como el valor, las emociones, la dificultad y los hábitos, con el propósito final  de establecer la acción didáctica que nos permita incidir de forma positiva en las actitudes de los maestros e indirectamente en la mejora de la enseñanza de esta materia.

En esta comunicación se van a presentar algunos de los resultados obtenidos al analizar el “componente valor” para una muestra de alumnos de Grado de 1º de Magisterio, reflexionando sobre aquellos factores que intervienen en la percepción que tienen sobre esta materia, el interés por su aprendizaje y la utilidad que otorgan a la misma, tanto a nivel personal como profesional.

Se ha llegado a la conclusión de que, aún dándole valor a la asignatura,  no le dan  el mismo que a otras materias. No se aprecia diferencia significativa ni entre sexos, ni por especialidad. Se considera la importancia de trabajar la actitud en los programas de formación inicial para mejorar la percepción del valor de la plástica, tanto en el campo de la educación como en el conocimiento del entorno.

Abstract:

This communication has been a part of a broader research project, carried out along the 2011-12 course, with forming teachers at the School of Education in Segovia. The purpose has been to investigate the attitude towards Plastic area showed by them. There have been analyzed different elements just like the value, emotions, difficulty grade and habits, with the ultimate aim of setting the teaching methods to influence in a positive way on the teachers attitudes and, indirectly, improving the teaching of this subject.

This communication will show some results obtained by analyzing the “value component” on a group of students at the first course of Teaching Grade, reflecting on those factors involved in the perception of the subject, the interest  of their own learning and the usefulness they attribute, both personal and professionally, to it. We have reached at the conclusion that, even giving value to that matter, do not give the same as others. No significant difference was observed either betweeen sexes or specialty. We consider the importance of working the attitudes in initial training programmes, in order to improve the perceived value of Plastic, both in educational area and in the understanding of the environment.
