Abstract

This article examines, from a variety of stories about the relations between East and West, and for centuries this was the Middle East, which was beyond what is now called the Far East, was known only by hearsay , which were transmitted in stories full of legends. Some of these iconic buildings are included in the article that allows to consider the relationship (not always without conflict) both religious and political differences between geographical and cultural spaces.
