Several interpretations of the “Arab Spring” refer to a reemergence of “political Islam” and question the versions that emerged in the ’90s announcing the end of it. However, the complexity of the issue requires a thorough analysis on the passage of the “Arab Spring” to the “winter of political Islam.” These aspects are analyzed and discussed in this paper.
