Abstract

The independence of the Maghrib territories colonized by France allowed the creation of a new space for thought and creation. In little more than fifty years, there has been a shift from the confinement of the colonized to their sense of belonging to a community that transcends categories, hierarchies as well as borders (both as ascribed identity and as restriction). The works that belong to the French-speaking literature corpus include inherently this historical questioning and the formulation of a new view. Therefore, the thematic and form models show the “bi(pluri)cultural” processes, as we can see in the work of the Tunisian poet Tahar Békri.
