Phonetic and interactive elements in the language of Spanish popular tales

Abstract

The study of linguistic particularities of folklore texts allows implementing multidisciplinary method in order to analyse diverse material from theoretical point of view as well as from pragmatics. In folklore and grammar tradition it is accepted to refer during the study to phonetic, lexical, morphological and syntactic characteristics of folklore language, means of artistic expressions, didactic functions and interactive methods. Study of phonetic phenomena has taken a special place among various levels of analysis. During centuries different methods employed to attract audience attention have been sharpened and maintained in folksy memory. They are phonetic words’ game, repetition, pleonasm, fairy tale tripling, onomatopoeia, use of phonetic units, riddles, rhymed formula elements and many other events transmitting fairy tale colour of different regions in Spain.
