The order of similarities in Leonardo Sciascia
Keywords:
Leonardo Sciascia, Sicily, Literature, Twentieth century, SimilaritiesAbstract
This article analyses some Sciascia’s works in search of the “order of similarities”, a concept that the writer from Racalmuto had drawn from the analysis of Antonello’s works, starting with the famous Cefalù’s Portrait of a man. On a “bioethnic” background, similarity takes the shape of a gnoseological form, a scrutinizing showing, which often compares by negation and can conveys truth or confusion.
