Spanish translation, by actress and director Diana Volpe, of the play Polvere (Dust), written by Saverio La Ruina and staged for the first time, in Italian, in 2015 and, in Spanish, in 2018 in Caracas and in 2024 in Valencia. On stage there is a he and a she: they are cultured, well-off, travel, read books, have a stimulating social life. We meet them at the beginning of their story, returning from a party. It should be a perfect moment, but it is immediately clear that something is wrong. There is an intangible, impalpable, evanescent dust that slowly rises up around the woman: it surrounds her, envelops her, undermines her certainties, destroys her strength, her courage, extinguishes her smile and her ability to dream.
