Estrategias pedagógicas novedosas para motivar a leer a jóvenes con DI: las Nubes de palabras

Los jóvenes con Discapacidad Intelectual (DI) muestran dificultades tanto en la comprensión lectora como en la producción escrita (Hallabaan et al., 2018). Esto parece llevar aparejado un menor hábito lector o gusto por la lectura. Sin embargo, los beneficios que implica la lectura son bien conocidos e implican mejoras psicológicas, como mayor bienestar, mejor estado de ánimo y puede suponer para jóvenes con DI mejoras en habilidades cognitivas y críticas (Qianquian Wang et al., 2022; Robinson, et al., 2018). Por tanto es importante promover la lectura en los jóvenes con DI.
