Abstract

The improvement of education on a large scale seems an unattainable goal and a difficult promise to fulfill. With this objective, education policies today dominant on the world scene, promote a device in which the evaluation and self-evaluation are the key piece. Inspired by the prospect of effective schools and quality management models, its virtuality does not consist of both actually improve education significantly, but it exempts the State from this responsibility and endorses it centers and teachers. Thus, in view of the poor results the evaluation mechanism has achieved in years, instead of evaluation could be talking of indictment.
