The abundant studies on Christine de Pizan have tended to focus more on one part of her work —philosophical, didactic and political writings— to the detriment of another. This is the case of the religious writings of this medieval writer who, until recently, had only aroused the interest of a few specialists. Recent editions of these works have made their visibility possible. The objectives of this work are to offer a brief presentation of the religious literary legacy of Christine de Pizan and to analyze in more detail one of the prose works that make up this legacy: Heures de contemplation sur la Passion de Nostre Seigneur Jhesucrist. The study of this text on the Passion of Christ will allow us to briefly highlight some of the peculiarities that characterize it and to situate Christine de Pizan in the medieval tradition of religious writing.
