Abstract

This research explores the potential of the project-based learning for nutrition education. A case study is carried out with the students and teachers of the third-grade of Primary School using different research instruments such as questionnaires and interviews, amongst others. The results show improvements in the quality of the diet, increasing the consumption of fruits and vegetables, reducing the consumption of sweets and improving the quality of breakfast. The conclusions of the study suggest the suitability of project-based learning for addressing nutrition education.
