Traducción y migración de textos poéticos en la obra de Clara Janés

Abstract
Clara Janés is not only an accomplished poet but also an active translator, and this study analyzes how Janés’s approach to poetic translation affects her own original poetry and poetic theory. Janés offers a unique perspective on the concept of estrangement through her poetic translations, and this estrangement is reflected in her poetry, which has often been inspired by works encountered through translation. This article addresses how Janés’s translations have enabled a type of textual migration, specifically through a close reading of Janés’s Diván del ópalo de fuego. Finally, the paper reflects on the importance of Janés’s work for contemporary studies of migration and foreignness in Spanish literature.
