In this article is presented the progress on the research of Focus of exclusion discourse markers: «solo», «solamente », «nada más», «nada más que» y «nomás». In consideration of the previous studies (Montoro, 2011, 2012). They are studied according to the mitigating functions (Briz 1995, 2003, 2007, 2010) and according to the Ficha de Atenuación (Albelda et. al., 2014) in two oral speech corpus in the northeast of Mexico. The methodological strategy lies on analyzing the speech acts in which these markers appear through linguistic and pragmatic-discursive criteria. A comparison of their frequencies in a structured interview with thematic modules, and a spontaneous conversation obtained with a hidden voice recorder is established
