A PROPOSITION FOR THE USE OF PRESEEA MATERIALS IN A SPANISH SOCIOLINGUISTICS COURSE: EXPERIENCES AND IDEAS

This paper presents proposals and experiences of using PRESEEA materials in the classroom. It is described in detail how the author of the article uses these materials in their Hispanic sociolinguistics classes and suggestions for colleagues who are interested in incorporating practical sociolinguistic tasks into their teaching are provided. The experiences accumulated over the nine years since practical tasks based on publicly available PRESEEA materials on the project's website began have been very positive. It has once again been confirmed that practical tasks not only reinforce and support theoretical content but also aid in their deeper understanding at a higher level.
