Abstract

This article considers the figure of Tito Marrone, a poet only apparently ‘minor’ who participated in the Roman crepuscolarism, by analyzing his relations with the major contemporary authors, from Corazzini to Pirandello, passing through Rosso di San Secondo. The singular and original Marrone’s poetics manages to capture the changes in content and style of his time, as well as to show a particular sensitivity in theatrical reviews.
