COVID-19 y cambio climático: Desafíos y oportunidades para la recuperación económica

Este artículo repasa cómo ha afectado la COVID-19 al compromiso de cada país con el Acuerdo de París y la reducción de emisiones para mantener el incremento global de temperatura por debajo de los 2 ºC durante este siglo. Se señala que, conforme las naciones se vayan recuperando de estas crisis y si no se toman medidas adicionales, las emisiones de gases de efecto invernadero aumentarán de nuevo y volverán al camino habitual, como ya ocurrió al finalizar crisis anteriores. El artículo propone acciones a corto y medio plazo para reconstruir el sistema de forma diferente y ayudar a hacer frente al desafío global del cambio climático.
