This article analyze the Bologna Reform in different degrees in Catalonian public universities from Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, and how new learning conditions can influence in student’s social relationships at university. The research identifies a typology of students by their social relationships at universty, and it examines their influence in the learning process. The findings, from a questionnaire to 867 students, show that the more varied and frequent are the relationships (weak ties), the better results student obtains. However, the students use strong ties (peers) to obtain help for studying, but they don’t influence in their outcomes.
