Abstract

The education has been one of the social processes studied by social sciences, where sociology has developed a vast field of knowledge. Without sopping being object of the sociological analysis, the education also has been regarded as substantive component of the  development projects and public policies whose goals and interests are far of the fixed ones by the sociological perspective. This work approaches the main argumentative axes from which the main discourses have been made about the “right to the education” including the originating one of sociology, in order to consider the discourse possibilities as a resource to identify and to direct the social sense and the actions in the “right to the education” subject in Mexico.
