The hypothesis of this paper deals with an increasing interest about La Celestina due to a possible connexion between the text and those characteristics that define Postmodernity in Sociology. We pay our attention to Celestina’s criticism towards institutions by means of religion parody, humour and nihilist component that seems possible to be accepted inside the margins of the plot in spite of the moralising purpose argued in Tragicomedia's paratexts.
