Alberto Garcia-Alix is one of the most recognized photographers in the international contemporary art scene. Through his photographic, audiovisual and written works, he provides us with an emotional and self-referential perspective that turns his work into a mirror of his life and, therefore, of his generation. This article provides an overview of his work vis-a-vis his biography and his social and cultural context.
